Catriona Gray supports call to donate 1M-worth of vitamin C for Philippine Red Cross Volunteers
Pasig City, Philippines – [June XX, 2021] – You may not realize it, but our safety lies in the hands of other people amid the new normal. Behind those masks, face shields, or suits are people, such as medical practitioners and volunteers, who have been battling for us at the frontlines, unfazed by the uncertainties brought by the pandemic.
For Miss Universe 2018 and the pride of Filipinos, Catriona Gray, their sacrifices mean so much more as they go over and beyond their duties to save lives and help protect us from COVID-19. This time, Gray calls on the public to show our gratitude to our volunteers and front-liners, particularly those from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
“Our volunteers have sacrificed so much during this pandemic, most especially our medical front-liners. Even Red Cross and its volunteers have selflessly helped saved lives, and I say, it is time to give back to them,” she said in a social media post, calling all Filipinos to support the “Pass the Vitamins” Campaign.
Initially launched in September 2020, the “Pass the Vitamins” campaign was initiated by Santé, a premier natural and organic health and wellness product and services provider. It aims to encourage everyone to show their loved ones their love and care by passing on some much-needed vitamins, like the Santé Daily-C, for an added protection amid the current health crisis.
Santé Daily-C is a non-acidic vitamin C supplement with a pH range of 7.00 to 8.00, making it gentler on the stomach for safer daily consumption. This product also comes in vegetable capsules, making it ideal for those living the vegetarian lifestyle. In addition, its 750 mg variant gives an extra level of protection since it contains 843.64mg of Sodium Ascorbate, a nutrient known for its capability to help the immune system and prevent and treat scurvy and vitamin C deficiency.
This time, Catriona, an ambassador for Santé Daily-C and Philippine Red Cross, invites everyone to join Santé’s campaign by availing of the PASS THE VITAMINS 3+1(+1) promo. With each purchase of three Daily-C 750mg packs, the customers will receive one free pack and another one that will go directly to PRC front-liners and volunteers until they reach 1,000 boxes or more than PhP1-M peso-worth of vitamins.
“Together, let’s go for the EXTRA C and show the EXTRA CARE by donating 1-million-peso worth of Daily-C 750mg to our Red Cross volunteers. Together let’s pass on the vitamins. Let’s help them help us,” Catriona added.
Santé Daily C is just one of the many other organic health and wellness products offered by Santé. Known for its flagship, Santé Barley™, the company has developed a comprehensive selection of everyday barley-based products. As certified by BioGro, New Zealand’s leading organic certification agency, they are made with organic barley grass.
“The pandemic has taken so much from our lives, but volunteers and medical front-liners have certainly sacrificed a lot to keep us safe. Our PASS THE VITAMINS campaign is our way of giving back to them and repay for their sacrifices by helping to provide them that extra protection they need,” said Joey Marcelo, chief executive officer of Santé.
Santé is one of the fastest-growing distribution and direct selling companies globally. Aside from New Zealand and the Philippines, Santé is also present in key markets, such as Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Abuja, Lagos, and Cyprus.
